Registration for steward elections were held simultaneously for 4 stewards, due to vacancies arising over the past year.

Agenda for the GMM and the Treasurer’s Report were not shared due to technical difficulties.

The Budget was not presented at the GMM as it is a work in progress. The same will be presented at the GMM in Feb 2023.

Opening Balance as of 01 st of Jan 2022 : $105,880.03

Closing Balance as of 23 rd of Nov 2022 : $132,506.10

Open forum – Multiple issues were brought up by members from different departments:

• Job postings & line selection.
• Number of rebates in a year from Head Office.
• Communication issues – Newsletters, Bulletin Boards (none in CVH) etc.
• Members on LTD wanted communication regarding their status/situation.
• But the LEC do not have information on their medical status (which is confidential).
• Education for Stewards and how the call out is done.
• Canadian Tire Gift cards will be distributed by the Event Committee to the new members of the Local in the New year.
• Mugs & pens will be distributed in Dec 2022 as a holiday gift for all members. They were purchased with the left-over budget & will reflect in our rebates in the New year.
