OHC (Ontario Health Coalition)

A brief history of what the OHC does: They are a very active coalition that campaigns to protect & improve public health care for all Ontarians under the principles of the Canada Health Act including hospital care, long-term care, home care, access to doctors and nurses and community health centres.

Natalie Mehra: Has been the Executive Director of the OHC for over 21 years.  She has built the OHC into the largest and broadest public interest group on Health care in the province, representing a million Ontarians in its network of more than 400 member organizations and more than 50 local chapters.  Natalie is a recognized expert on health policy, privatization, social movement organizing and much more. 

Dr. Adil Shamji: Member of Parliament since 2022 and is the Liberal Health Critic.
